[09] -CONCERT- 9/9/2007 Merry Pierce release party featuring Anneke on vocals!
Yesterday evening Merry Pierce had an album release party! They perform almost the entire new album and a bunch of other stuff as well at the great Merleyn venue in their hometown Nijmegen.
They had unexpected guests appearances and they played songs they had never played before and most likely will never play again, though who knows..
Anneke was there too!
She performed THE masterpiece Audrey's Dance from the forthcoming Merry Pierce album " The warm aquarium ".
Early in the evening
Its been a long hot day
Something inside me is steaming
It makes me wanna play
I drive my car lalf dreaming
Into the night away
There's this place up north
Mostly men go there
I feel I'd like to stay there
Cause when she dances there is nothing to compare
Just wanting more and more
The dance floor turns into a total love affair
It leaves me wild at heart
A final sin before
Heading home to please again
But I'm the one on fire
Cause when she dances there is nothing to compare
By far
The dance floor turns into a total love affair
Once more
Quite something to seee
When a girl parades at night
The wild songs they are singing
To the tension she is bringing
One reason to be dreaming
On my way back home
Once you're in no chance for leaving
The lights go down, I feel alone
But I know she's there
Until the new rising sun
There's no way back home
Oh no no
The album will be available in stores tomorrow, Monday 10/9.
the album can be ordered on the webshop of their record company
